an apparition or double of a living person.

Double self-portraits are inspired by the paradox otherwise known as persona (or mask in Greek). Discrepancy in between our conscience and outer space is covered by the mask (persona), which governs the way we behave and think. Without exceptions, everyone behaves like a chameleon, changing personas and acting accordingly. It is both fun and risk to remove the mask and encounter our inner creature. Trading different personas became one of the main points in my practice, allowing me to take distance from self and explore hidden layers of conscience.
